¡Hola! Soy Rachel Lindhart. Traveling and experiencing a new culture has been on my to-do list for quite some time now, but growing up in small-town Iowa has not presented me with many opportunities to do so. Thanks to study abroad, I will finally be able to check this off my bucket list, along with two other list toppers: becoming fluent in Spanish and biologizing in foreign lands. Currently a sophomore at Central College, I am double majoring in biology and Spanish with a minor in chemistry. After graduation, I plan to venture on to optometry school in hopes of someday providing eye care to third world Spanish-speaking countries. I am thrilled to be able to use my video blogs as a way to document special memories and bring my Merida experience to life to viewers back home. Stay tuned!
