Wow, these weeks go by fast! I have sure had a crazy week so far. My days all seem to be jam packed with school and football. We won our game last saturday against St. Thomas so that was great. This week we play in Michigan at Hope College. Hopefully the outcome is the same!
Not only was the weekend good because we won it was also a great time because my family came out from Colorado to see me. My mom, dad, and two friends came 10 hours just to see me. I was pretty excited to see all of them. I only wish I could’ve seen my little sister but she had to stay at home to play volleyball. Im sure she be sure to make it next time everyone comes to visit.
Well I have to go o some homework like I’m sure everyone else does. Hopefully this next week goes just as well as my last one!
Go Dutch!!

My name is Allison Fegley and I am currently a senior at Central College — what a scary thought! I can’t believe that in less than a year I will have graduated and be on my own! I am a Communication Studies major and a Spanish minor here at Central. After graduation I hope to do public relations, marketing or some type of communications consulting at a business somewhere — but I have no idea where yet. I participate in a lot of activities at Central including SOS, which is a group who plans freshman orientation and gets new freshman acclimated to campus. I am in the Steel Drum Band and Percussion Ensenble at Central — both of which are a lot of fun. I also work in the Admissions Office, the Marketing and Media Relations Office, and for the first time this year I am working as a tutor for a few of the Communication Studies classes I have taken. As you can probably tell I keep pretty busy!

I am living in the newest form of campus housing this year — the pods with 7 of my good friends. We have 4 bedrooms that we share with our roommates, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a little kitchenette, and the best part — our own laundry machines! It is so nice not to have to carry big baskets of dirty clothes down 3 flights of stairs!
I just got back from studying abroad in London last semester. London was definitely the best semester of my life! I met so many new friends from Central, other places in the United States, and even London! I miss being there a lot and it feels a little strange being back on campus. But I love it here too and am excited to be back with my friends who I haven’t seen for so long! I think it is going to be a great year!
